Refund policy

At THENEWSEOUL, we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return cannot be accepted.

Returns shipped after the 14-days will not be accepted and shipped back to the original dispatch address. Please initiate any return requests within 14 days to ensure smooth processing.

We will provide you with the return labels to the designated warehouses. In order to ensure smooth and efficient returns, we want to make sure you are aware of the correct return address for designated warehouse.

Please be extremely careful when returning products and ensure that you use the correct return address corresponding to the warehouse from which you received the items. Sending returns to an incorrect warehouse location will result in a 20% restocking fee, as it incurs additional handling and logistics costs.

Damages and Issues

  • Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions/Non-Returnable Items

  • Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

  • The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

  • Not withstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds

  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. However, If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@thenewseoul.com.

 

Return Policy

All products must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and THENEWSEOUL and designer tags attached to them (if applicable). This includes all packaging, accessories and authenticity cards/dust bags. We reserve the right not to accept any return if the product shows signs of wear or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way or, as an alternative, may reduce the amount of any applicable refund or exchange accordingly.

For example, we may make a reduction in the following circumstances:

  • the product(s) have been used, worn, damaged or washed;
  • the designer and THENEWSEOUL tags are not attached to the product(s) or have not been returned. Please note that the THENEWSEOUL and designer tags constitute an integral part of each product; and/or
  • you have not returned any packaging which is considered an integral part of a product (such as a dust bag).

You will be informed if we propose to reduce your refund for this reason. In this instance, you may (as an alternative to us providing you with a reduced refund) choose to have the products sent back to you at your own expense.

Defective or Wrong Items: If you encounter any defective or wrong shipped items, we will provide a return label for you to ship the defective/wrong item back to us.

Customer Dissatisfaction Returns: Returns due to customer dissatisfaction should be shipped back at the customer's expense and with an active tracking number. Please use reliable carriers such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx. We do not accept returns shipped via local Postal Services due to long delivery times, and any such packages will be rejected.

Customs Charges: For returns with customs charges, the buyer will be responsible for covering those costs. If a customer's return includes customs charges, these must be paid first before we can proceed with the refund of the returned item/s.

Return Conditions: All returns must be in perfect original condition, including any original attachments such as tags, boxes, or dust bags, along with the original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse returns if the products have been worn, washed, or have any traces of use.

Declined Returns: In the event of declined returns, the order will be shipped back to the buyer, and any additional shipping charges will be borne by them. Please note that all returns are subject to a quality inspection upon return arrival.

Refund Process: Approved refunds will be made by bank transfer or via PayPal within 5 business days after receiving and approving the returns.

Missing Packages: In the rare cases of not receiving a package, claims must submitted no later than 21 days from the shipment date.

Bags & Accessories

All designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with your return.

Please handle light-colored bags and accessories carefully if you are still deciding whether you will be keeping the item. Please note that dark items of clothing can transfer dye to light-colored bags.

Shoes

When trying on shoes, stand on a carpeted surface to protect the soles. Please return all items including the dust bag and shoebox. The shoebox forms part of the product and should remain intact by placing in outer packaging when sending back to us otherwise, it will not be accepted.

Beauty, Fragrance & Candles

Skincare, cosmetics and haircare must be returned unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Please note that fragrance, nail polish, candles and aerosols are final sale and cannot be returned due to transport restrictions.

Lingerie & Swimwear

Briefs, swimsuits and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip.

Fine Jewelry

These exquisite pieces must be returned to us unworn with the presentation box, protective packaging and any designer cards or tags included.

Luxury Watches

Luxury watches must be returned to us unworn with the plastic protective cover on the face and in its original packaging including the warranty, presentation box and any outer packaging. You must also ensure that it has not been wound up to the correct time. Watch bracelets that have been adjusted at your request must be returned with the exact same number of links as in the original delivery package.

Limited Edition Products & Books

As these items are highly collectible, please only remove the protective cover and packaging once you are certain that you wish to keep them.

Technology

Technology products should be returned in the original packaging.

Late Returns

Your item(s) should be sent back to us within 14 days of receiving you order. Returns outside this timeframe may be accepted at the discretion of THENEWSEOUL and may only be refunded as a store credit.

Colors

We have made every effort to display the colors of our products that appear on THENEWSEOUL as accurately as possible. However, computers, tablets and mobile devices do not guarantee the accurate display of the products.
